麥丞韜

Hugo Mak is an accomplished orchestral musician, arranger, and orchestrator.

A master's graduate of the Royal Academy of Music with Distinction, he currently serves as the solo contrabassoonist for the Malmö Symphony Orchestra in Sweden. He has appeared as a guest player with leading orchestras in the UK and Sweden, including the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, among others. He is also an in-demand session musician, contributing to numerous film and television scores, with recent credits including Kraven the Hunter (2024), The Flash (2023), Amsterdam (2022), and Enola Holmes 2 (2022).

In addition to his performing career, his extensive orchestral background enables him to expertly transcribe, arrange, and orchestrate music, having crafted music for a range of genres spanning classical, film, and pop music for over a decade.
