Rhyn Cheung

Member of BDT2 and regular evening class tutor of Beyond Dance Theater. He joined the company in 2021 and completed the 1-year professional training program. He has participated in the company’s productions, including “Re: Four Seasons”, ”For C.”, “Remnants”, “The Wind Of Empty”, “Temple Faith”, “Train of Thoughts”, and “Castle of Glass”. He has also co-choreographed “HIDE” with BDT2 member, Annie Lam Hoi Ling in “Train Of Thoughts 2023”.

Rhyn began pole dancing in 2013 in Los Angeles. He has performed and created for various circus, theatre, and film productions. Rhyn has also received various pole awards in the US, Singapore, France, and South Korea; and was invited as a guest teacher for studios internationally. His recent performances include Tai Kwun's “This Variation” (Toni Sehgal), “Cooperative Fantasie” by Chu Chin Ching in Unlock Body Lab: dance-to-be 2023.

Academically, Rhyn received his B.Sc. at UCLA and Ph.D. at HKU in marine biology.
