Tony Yeung

Tony Yeung primarily engages in artistic creation through goldsmithing. He enjoys paying attention to the things around him and crafting mini sculptures or jewelry using precious metals. He also contemplates the relationship between objects, architecture, and people. He graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2020, where he studied goldsmithing and jewelry creation techniques. After graduation, he pursued further studies in inlay certification and participated in the Loupe Resident Designer Program, learning from master craftsmen at Chow Tai Fook Jewelry Group. In recent years, he has been dedicated to promoting the art of goldsmithing to the public through organizing various goldsmithing workshops and introductory classes, hoping to preserve and advance the traditional craft of goldsmithing. Although his works fall under the category of "jewelry," he avoids using gemstones or semi-precious stones. Instead, he focuses more on the forms of metal and utilizes recycled materials in his creations, infusing them with the stories of the materials themselves.
