Drip Music proudly presents the “440” series as part of its one-and-a-half-year project “Ensemble Transience: Jazz Across Boundaries—Outreach & Incubation” . The series title refers to the audio frequency of 440 Hz, which is used as a reference pitch in modern music. With the idea of “tuning” in mind, Ensemble Transience provides a platform for international music talents with diverse backgrounds to interact and exchange, bringing new inspirations to the local music scene.
In our “440 Kick-off Sharing”, Teriver Cheung (Music Director, Ensemble Transience) will introduce the project’s vision and exciting programmes to come. He will discuss how musicians can equip themselves with the necessary skills to thrive in the post-pandemic music industry. Moreover, special guests Jan Curious and Kay Tse will share their experience and insights as indie musicians. All artists will also make some music in an intimate setting.
“Ensemble Transience: Jazz Across Boundaries—Outreach & Incubation” is financially supported by the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
